About Author
Every author has an inspiration and Cristine Pfeil’s started with a love of teaching. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from Bridgewater University in Massachusetts, and later a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing from Emerson College in Boston. After a long and fulfilling career in public school education, Cris retired from teaching to follow her lifelong dream of becoming a writer.
Her first book, The Right Blood, is already being called one of the best sci-fi books for middle school boys and a total favorite for anyone who loves action-packed YA books. She says, “This book is dedicated to You, Jesus, my champion!” showing how much her faith and family inspire her writing. She also lovingly dedicates her work to her family, her grandparents, parents, husband, daughter, son-in-law, and her cherished grandsons, Brady, Cameron, and Rowan, who inspire her every day. She has one motto: to inspire people with her work
